Cruising with the Feeney Family

Our good friends from Illinois came out to visit their daughter/sister who lives in Seattle. They stayed at our house and we had a wonderful time on the lake and out cruising on Stargazer. This first picture shows (L to R): Kristin, Claire, Mike, Kevin and Kevin's girlfriend, Brooke. It was so fun to spend time with them and to catch up on what everyone has been doing. Bob worked with Mike at Horizon Hobby for the year we spent in Illinois but had known him a long time from when we owned Galaxy Hobby.

A trip to Edmonds for lunch at Anthony's Beach Cafe seemed like a good idea and gave them a view of the shoreline and ferries as we cruised. On our way back, we went across to Whidbey Island and cruised back along the shoreline looking at the landslides that have eaten away at some of the homes on the shore. Another oddity that is fun to see is the train car that has been converted into a cabin. There's some creativity!

 

It was a wonderful time on the boat for all of us. Lots of laughter and good times. This last picture is of Mike recreating his photo from when he swam with dolphins on their cruise a few years ago.
